We were somewhat suspect when our rep pulled this wine out of his bag. Picpoul from Washington state? Yep and one sniff and sip later, and we were in love with this bright and deliciously aromatic white wine. \n\n'Citrus, grapefruit, white peach, apricot, Meyer lemon zest, and fresh lime. Nectarine, white flower, tarragon, chalky soil, wet stone mineral, and a sea breeze salinity. Makes you want to keep smelling it. Light and lean on the palate, but the acidity lingers, invoking that feeling of salinity again, leaving you craving more. Green apple, pink lady, stone fruit, and citrus flavors of white peach, apricot, and lemon zest. Paired with oysters or shellfish is heaven.' - Winemaker Notes
