Domaine de la Tour Penet Macon-Peronne Rouge 2023 750 ML

Winemaker Anne Ramonet is the daughter of the Ferrets, owners of this beautiful estate at the highest elevation above Peronne, about 30 kilometers north of Fuisse. She is also the former wife of Jean-Claude Ramonet from whom she obviously learned a good bit about making superbly balanced wines. Anne has taken over her family’s estate and the winemaking from her father Guy Ferret. The old-vine cuvees are partially barrel-fermented, and approach a Cote d’Or in nuance.
