The 'Petrignano', as can already be guessed from its name in Italian, is a particular area with soils characterised by high stoniness and strong minerals, where there are outcrops of limestone rocks typical of the Mount Morello Geological Formation, at a height of about 330 metres above sea level. The abundant presence of skeleton, the depth of the roots and the low vigour found in this area give us a remarkably expressive and rich wine, a Cru with personality.
