Purity, definition and varietal expression sits at the heart of Chan de Rosas’ stylistic approach. The Cuveé Especial incorporates hand-harvest Albarino from Do Galpon & Alto Pazo. A small proportion of the wine (15%) is gentled rest in French oak barrels to aid texture, weight and complexity. This judicious approach to oak influence aims to support the natural expression of the grape, and allow its personality to shine.\n \n The nose brings together citrus peel, green apple, white peach and subtle vanilla notes. These notes follow on to the palate with a creamy texture and wonderful honeysuckle note on the finish. A great example of this characterful grape variety.
