This vineyard site, located half-way between the hamlet of Baudana and the village of Serralunga d'Alba, is without a doubt one of most coveted grape growing blocks of the eastern side of the DOCG Barolo. Located in a South-to-South-East orientation between 270 -380 meters in altitude, Prap 's soils contain a high percentage of silt and clay, which many local vintners believe provide wines from this particular growing area with a 'distinct and rare punchiness.'
