      Castro Candaz Finca El Curvado 2020 is an elegant red from Ribeira Sacra in Galicia, Spain. Produced by the Castro Candaz project of Raúl Pérez and Rodrigo Méndez, it is centered on Mencía from old vines planted on steep granite and slate-influenced sites. The wine is fermented with whole clusters and matured for about one year in 500-liter oak barrels, emphasizing freshness, minerality and finesse.

      Bright cherry and red berry aromas mingle with plum, lavender, savory herbs and crushed-stone minerality. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh with fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish.
