Forty Creek Canadian Whisky Barrel Select is a blended whisky that is made in Ontario, Canada by the Forty Creek Distiller. It is made from a base of wheat spirit and distilled with natural flavors. It is aged for several months in French oak barrels before bottling. It has a medium amber color and a rich aroma of maple syrup, shortbread cookies, and molasses. It has a slightly chewy, crisp, fruity medium body and a silky palate with notes of roasted walnuts, sweet banana pie, vanilla wafers, and oak. It has a long and spicy finish with hints of black chocolate.
