Praja “Cardedu” (car-DAY-do),in a remote area, South East Sardegna, sparsely populated mountainous region is one of the better known wine regions of Sardegna. The Loi family doesn’t think of itself as a natural wine producer; they don't think of themselves as "hip". Monica is the varietal that is said to have Spanish origins (nope we hadn't heard of it before either).
