Akenta, the Sardinian sparkling wine that conquers from the first sip, comes from a careful selection of Vermentino di Sardegna DOC grapes hand-picked and sparkling in autoclave (Charmat method), where the yeasts enhance fragrant aromas and allow the formation of a fine and persistent perlage. Akenta is a precious and unique extradry, born in a large oasis in the north west of Sardinia: the Porto Conte Natural Park which for the first time assigns its sustainability label to this label, a recognition of its origin from a protected area.
The vineyards have rows exposed to the sun, caressed by the wind after riding the waves: this Vermentino is truly the Vermentino of the sea.
The name Akenta derives from the Sardinian “A kent’annos”, an auspicious saying: this sparkling wine carries within itself all the positive notes of good wishes, combined with the beauty of Sardinia.
