Description
Domaine Follin-Arbelet Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru Clos du Chapitre 2022 is an elegant red Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir. The walled Clos du Chapitre vineyard has stony clay, limestone and gravel soils and is known for producing harmonious, mineral-driven wines with both early appeal and good aging potential. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts before maturation in oak barrels.
Testing Note
Red cherry, wild strawberry and red plum aromas mingle with violet, spice and earthy mineral notes. The palate is silky and precise, with lively acidity, fine-grained tannins and a long, savory, mineral finish.
